Forget Superstitions, Friday The 13th Brings A Full Harvest Moon

I am not a superstitious person -- never have been, never will be. But if that is your thing that's cool. Many people look at Friday the 13th as a day where creepy and sometimes scary things can happen. Oh I'm sure you've heard about several superstitions like "no umbrellas inside," or "knock on wood," or a real popular one "bad luck comes in threes." There is a whole list of other superstitions that people believe in.

While most are avoiding walking under a ladder or dodging that black cat running in front of them, I'm super excited about seeing the full harvest moon that will be dangling in the sky tonight. Most of the U.S. will see the moon shortly before midnight, and you may want to go outside and capture it because the next one won't be seen until 2049.

If you happen to miss the full moon you can catch it all weekend long. According to NASA the moon will appear to be full through Sunday night.
