A police officer from west suburban Aurora can dance! I love when police officers step out of their role of cop and have a little bit of fun with people in the community because it shows that they are just human too.
Officer Chris Weaver took some time from his beat to dance with students of the AKA Dance Studio in Aurora and I love every second of it! They danced the "Git Up Challenge" and I know for the students and both Officer Weaver this was a fun experience.
It is so important that officers continue to have a rapport with citizens in their communities because it builds not only good relationships but trust, and we need more of that in Chicago and beyond.
