Chicagoans should get prepared for some crazy headline surrounding President Trump's visit to Chicago on Monday. The prez stops through the Chi for the first time as president, and you already know security will be tight. As you may recall, when he was on the campaign trail in 2016 there were all types of scuffles and incidents happening at a rally he was leading at UIC.
Not everyone is holding out open arms for the president's visit, but it is what it is. How many times has he dissed Chicago because of the violent crime on our city streets? We definitely have issues but we don't need the leader of this country to always call it out. Other big cities have problems too, right?
Anyway, President Trump will be here for a reported fundraiser at guess where? Trump Tower. And he is also supposed to address a conference of police chiefs. Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson has already stated that he will not be in attendance. Now that's that Chicago 'G' move.
