A perk of the fall season is that we get an extra hour to do whatever we want with. On Sunday don't forget to move your clocks an hour back because that marks the end of daylight saving time. Technically daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, but don't worry, you can always set your clock back an hour before you go to sleep Saturday night.
Most smart phones automatically change to the correct time, however it is always a good idea to check the time when you wake up. And most likely you'll have to reset the stove, microwave, car clock and any other electronic devices that display the time.
Daylight saving time occurs in the summer months to make better use of more daylight hours. Once that ends this Sunday, what is known as standard time occurs until it's time to move the clocks back forward an hour in the spring.
