Chicago Seems So Chill On The NBA All-Star Weekend

Is it just me or does the city of Chicago seem a little chill on the NBA All-Star activities? I mean, we are the host city for one of the biggest sports events in the world, but I just don't see enough promotion to prove it.

Where are all of the street banners? Where are the billboards? Where are the welcome signs that are usually displayed proudly around the city when there is a major event coming here? I do see a lot of parties and events on social media, and it seems like there is something new popping up each day, but as a whole promoting the All-Star weekend is a bit quiet for the 3rd largest city in the country.

I need a little more glitz and glam Chi-Town, I need to see signs, I want to see spotlights shining on the United Center -- something! Chicago is a world-class city and I hope that we welcome the NBA with open arms and show them just how much class we have here. Next weekend will definitely be a very busy one with thousands of celebs and high-profile people dropping in on the Chi, and I just hope we are ready for it.
