Sleep Over Everything: Why Your Body Needs Rest

Getting adequate rest is one of the most important things we can do. Oh sure, eating properly and exercise is very necessary too, but how much sleep are you really getting each day?

Did you know the average person needs 7 to 9 hours of sleep in order to function at their best? And if you have a child, they need even more than that. Older people generally take naps throughout the day, so they're usually getting the required sleep they need.

There are several reasons why most cannot get the adequate amount of sleep because of their work schedules, some people work more than one job, some are in school and work, then there are family duties and so much more. Even if you don't go to sleep, if you can sit somewhere quietly and allow your body to get rest.
