Nearly 400-hundred thousand Chicago Public School students will be out of school beginning Tuesday. Parents are advised NOT to send their children to school, as there will be no adult supervision. Schools will be officially closed, however there will be food distribution starting Tuesday.
All students, even if they are not CPS students can still get meals. And you don't have to go to your child's school to pick up meals, you can go to any CPS school. Meals will be distributed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and each child can receive a meal for up to three days.
