Rihanna's Foundation Gives $5 Million To Help With Coronavirus Needs

Rihanna puts her money where her mouth is. Through the Clara Lionel Foundation the pop superstar and beauty mogul is donating $5 million to various organizations to assist with relief efforts regarding coronavirus.

As you recall earlier this year Rihanna was honored with the President's Award at the NAACP Image Awards, where she talked about the importance of helping each other during her acceptance speech. Well, now she is doing exactly what she encouraged others to do and is giving back in a big way.

Some of the organizations money will be donated to include: Feeding America, Partners in Health, The World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and others.

Rihanna's Foundation was started in 2012 and it is named in honor of her grandparents. Other celebrities, including NBA players have also made significant donations.

What a blessing, thank you.
