Even Lizzo sometimes has to remind herself that she's "100% that b*tch."
Like many of us, the "Truth Hurts" singer is dealing with the mental strain of quarantine: having to face one's body issues and more specifically navigating self-loathing thoughts. So, on Monday (April 20), Lizzo took to Instagram to share how she's practicing self-love during quarantine while simultaneously fighting "self-hatred."
"It’s been a long a** day 😫 🍑," the 31-year-old singer captioned a video of herself showing off her body in black, lace lingerie. "focus on a body part u don’t like about yourself and show it some love today." She added, "This quarantine has a lot of people suffering from mental health issues because we can’t get out and do our normal coping/self care routines.... self hatred was starting to creep up on me but I gotta remember I’m 110% that b*tch 💁🏾♀️ love you!"

Lizzo's encouraging post came days after she once again used her platform to bring hope and positivity amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
On Saturday (April 18), the "Truth Hurts" singer performed a powerful rendition of Otis Redding's classic hit "A Change Is Gonna Come" for the Global Citizen's One World: Together At Home special.
From her home in Los Angeles, Lizzo belted out the track while playing on the piano. She then concluded her performance with an uplifting message, saying, "Thank you to everyone working hard to keep us safe. Thank you to everyone staying home keeping themselves safe. I love you. We got this. We'll get through this together."
