Governor Pritzker announced yesterday that a goal he set for the state has been reached.
Yesterday, the state reached 10 thousand tests administered in one day. Positive cases in the state took a big jump as well… Illinois also saw its largest number of new COVID-19 cases in a single day – 2,724.
The governor is hopeful that they’ll will be able to start rolling out the antibody tests soon as well to see who’s immune to coronavirus, but says he wants to proceed with caution because the tests available now aren’t reliable enough to use.
If you want to get tested or think you need to be tested… Here's the link to the Illinois Department of Health testing info page. All you have to do on their site is enter your zip code to find the testing location nearest you. Many of the testing locations require appointments and health requirements, but you can search to find the place that meets your needs.
