If you are a college student who is a member of the class of 2020 you will have a celebrity commencement speaker at your graduation. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is teaming up with Facebook which is hosting a virtual graduation since the pandemic won't allow for a traditional ceremony.
Celebrity guests such as Simone Biles, Awkwafina, Lil Nas X and others to be announced will also make appearances and give encouraging words. Miley Cyrus will be the musical guest. Facebook will also add some features including a graduation hub, Messenger Rooms where grads can host their own graduations and parties, and custom filters will also be included.
The multi-hour graduation streaming event will take place on Friday, May 15th at 11a.m. CST.
