Throwback Thursday: Soul II Soul's Video Location Is Pretty Eerie

We love the 1989 hit "Back To Life" from the British band Soul II Soul. The song was one of their most successful hits in the United States, entering the Top 10 on the charts. But do you know where they shot the video to this song?

The video was filmed in Epping Forest, a massive area of trees and bodies of water located in the area of Greater London. The forest has a long-standing association with criminal behavior, and is said to be a notorious burial area for murder victims, dating back to the mid-60s. Sound creepy? It is.

But there is also beauty in the 5,900-acres of nature. Including more than 100 lakes and ponds, numerous species of animals and plant life, the forest is known to attract mountain bikers, cyclists and horseback riders.

I wonder why Soul II Soul chose this location to shoot a music video?
