Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made their first public appearance together Wednesday, becoming a historic Democratic ticket as Harris was chosen to be Biden's running mate the day before. The Senator from California is also the first black and Asian woman to appear on a major party ticket. Speaking at a press conference in Wilmington, Delaware, Harris said of Biden:
"His empathy, compassion and sense of duty to care for others is why I am so proud to be on this ticket."
Please vote this fall. Going to the polls will definitely make a difference. If you have the idea that "your vote won't count," imagine if 999 other people said the same thing? That would be a thousand lost votes. Think about it.
