On Saturday thousands are expected to protest police brutality on the Dan Ryan Expressway. The group will gather on the south side at 47th and Federal, and the march will proceed north on the Dan Ryan.
City officials and police are definitely aware of the protest, and the Chicago Police Union president is suggesting to have people prosecuted if they step foot on the expressway. State police will be on available, but they know that citizens have the right and freedom to protest peacefully.
