You would think in the midst of a pandemic parents would not want their children to be exposed to the virus as much as possible, but that isn't the case with students in DuPage County.
Hundreds of parents, students and some school staff rallied in west suburban Wheaton because they want to be back in the classroom. Keep in mind cases of coronavirus and COVID-19 have increased in the county, particularly among younger people. But they still don't care about that, their goal is to get back into the classroom and to participate in sports.
Many of the students say that it is important to have that physical learning experience and that sports is all a part of their learning experience as well. Students throughout much of the state of Illinois have returned to fully remote learning because the numbers of COVID-19 cases are rising.
