The Chicago Bears will return to Soldier Field Sunday for the first time since the pandemic hit. And believe me, the game will be a whole lot different. Like many other football teams, the Bears will play with no fans in the stands. That is going to be really weird to see, given Chicago has the most faithful football fans in the country!
According to Mayor Lori Lightfoot, there is a less than 50 percent chance of the Bears having fans. That's not very promising. But the health and safety of Chicagoans is a priority and I'm sure the decision to keep Soldier Field without fans was thought through.
Fans or no fans, I'm excited for the game as the Bears take on the Giants at noon. Go Bears.
