COVID-19 Deaths Surpass One Million Worldwide

What a grim and sad statistic, the fact that more than one million people have lost their lives to COVID-19. I personally know of a handful who have died, and even more who died after being hospitalized for the disease.

This just doesn't seem fair. I feel like something could have been done to prevent all the deaths. I realize underlying medical conditions can attribute to any type of illness, but some of the people who died didn't have to.

One million people. That's more than the population of many U.S. cities. That's more than the population of some countries! It's just sad, sad knowing that America just wasn't prepared for a pandemic, and truth be told we're still not as equipped as we should be. One million people dead worldwide from COVID-19. Unbelievable.
