This Holiday Season, Staying Home Is Your Best Bet

The holidays are right around the corner and many families are thinking of creative ways to celebrate since we are still in a pandemic. Ugh, nothing like sitting around all day and being bored but I think this year that's what I'm going to have to do.

For those of you who celebrate Halloween, it's being recommended that instead of taking the kids trick-or-treating, you have a small gathering at home and play games, have a costume contest or a candy hunt throughout the house or you can even order pizza and watch scary movies.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends for Thanksgiving that you stay home with family, have a small dinner gathering with members of the household only and instead of going to the stores for Black Friday, you should shop online.

The same applies for Christmas. Many people normally travel for the big day, but you're encouraged to stay at home this year because many states are still "hot spots" and the potential to contract the virus may be high.

However you decide to celebrate, please do it responsibly and carefully, and don't forget to wear your mask.
