Survey: Young Adults Are The Loneliest People In The U.S.

You would think that young people in their 20s would not be considered to be the most lonely people in the U.S. After all, they're usually the ones out partying and hanging out with friends all the time. But a study by the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine indicates otherwise.

The online survey was made up of 2,800 people across the country between the ages of 20 and 69, who were asked a series of questions. Although there was a range of characteristics of loneliness across the board, those in their 20s had the highest levels of loneliness, while those in their 60s had the lowest.

Researches say twenty-somethings are under a lot of stress and pressure because they are trying to establish their careers and find a life partner. But if they think that's bad, just wait until they really get into this thing called adulthood!
