There have been reports of scammers hacking computer passwords and racking up on credit card purchases because they now have access to your information. There are also a million and one scams online with fake ads enticing you to buy fake products that don't even exist. Be careful, some of these bogus websites look very authentic.

And finally, if you didn't invite anyone over to your home, don't open the door. There are posers pretending to be employees of utility companies, robbing, assaulting and even worse once they gain access to your home.

Please be cautious and aware because as the holiday season ramps up, the bad guys get real busy because everybody is pre-occupied with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
