America, what is happening?
This has been a tough year for most but we really need to begin to examine some of the issues that have plagued this country for years. I could list a lot of things, like racial injustice, homelessness, mental health issues and so on, and I'm hoping the incoming administration will address these crises.
Now our Armed Forces is racked with scandal of unbelievable proportions. Leaders in the U.S. Army have fired and suspended a significant number of officers and enlisted soldiers following sexual assaults, suicides and murders at Fort Hood, Texas.
These are the people who have sworn to protect this good 'ol country considered to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. Rather, the acts sound like something out of a True Crime episode. What are we doing America? What is happening here?
