We are approaching almost a year since our students have been pulled out of school due to the pandemic. Some schools across the country have resumed in-person learning, some are using the hybrid method of teaching and some children have been remote learning since March of last year.
This is such an uncertain time for all of us and although there is a vaccine, the coronavirus pandemic is still very much a part of our lives. What a difficult decision to have to make on whether or not to send children back into school buildings and jeopardize their health and the health of others, or continue to teach them remotely, which in some instances, is not very effective at all.
I hope a decision is reached soon as to how to move forward because our children are our future and they need to be educated effectively -- and in a safe environment. Bless the teachers, parents, school administrators and all who have to make these tough decisions. This is no easy task.
