Some Chicago Seniors May Receive Vaccine Next Week

According to the Chicago Department of Public Health some seniors who are 65 and older may receive the coronavirus vaccine as early as next week. The vaccines will be for those who are at highest risk and live or work in Chicago.

The vaccine will only be distributed if there are leftover doses not used for frontline healthcare workers because they are still the priority for now at the city's current mass vaccination sites. Those vaccinations will continue to be appointment-based.
