Don't think you'll be going to Atlanta to party during the NBA All-Star Weekend because it's not happening! A-T-L Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms is asking that you please do not come to the city thinking there will be parties and events happening all over town.
She has even encouraged hosts, promoters and club owners not to open their doors and have events that are not sanctioned by the NBA.
The reason why the game was moved from Indianapolis to Atlanta is because the TNT crew is there and the do not have to travel. But that doesn't really make a lot of sense because all of the NBA players and coaches still have to travel, right?
Oh boy. I guess you'll just have to enjoy the game on TV like most of us will be doing. By the way, the game is on March 7.
