Our classic Morton Salt building was approved on Wednesday from The City of Chicago to move forward to allow the historic bulding to become a riverfront music venue. When I first heard this story, I thought of a Hard Rock type of venue? House of Blues type of venue? Well with the budget of $30 million the project would create about 50 permanent jobs and I'm sure more will be added but the project is expected to generate $4.5 million in tax revenue annually.
I'm looking forward to seeing this project off the ground, but 1 question?
