Wow is all I can say after watching the Verzuz battle over the weekend featuring D'Angelo. As you should know by now these "battles" aren't battles at all. It is just an opportunity to see some of your favorite artists sing their hits.
D'Angelo's guests included Redman, Method Man and H.E.R. Can I just tell you how he snapped singing "Best Part" with her? Oh. My. Goodness. It was almost spiritual!
Also singing his hits like "Lady," "Brown Sugar," "Nothing Even Matters," "Untitled" and more, D'Angelo kept the viewers engaged and very pleased by the looks of the comments that scrolled through during his set. That dude is so smooth.
