Even tho I maybe the last human on Earth that hasn't seen Coming 2 America, I plan on spending time Sunday with a bowl of hot popcorn and hot sauce, analyzing the film.
Now from what I heard, The entire cast was rehired, all but Akeem's mother. The actress name was Madge Sinclair who passed away on December 20, 1995 after a long 13 battle with leukemia, she died at the age of 57 and she totally left behind a legacy.
But the film, Coming 2 America, which is a sequel to the original released in 1998 with Eddie Murphy with Aresenio Hall as his co-star. But what amazed me was the film's distribution rights were sold to Amazon Studios due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I've heard the film is fun and funny and worth the 33-year wait. Congrats Mr. Murphy...
