With another docu about Biggie's life, I was shocked that this was not the same same docu about the life and death of Biggie. What really surprised me was the director shed a light on Biggie's mother, her life and her upbringing from Jamaica. The influence of rap really came from Biggie's uncle and he remembered that when his mother picked up and moved to Brooklyn, New York. The docu was centered around the camera guy, whom followed Biggie's come up, concerts and and bouncing around hotels. A little bit of everybody was in on this docu but had a different spin to what they had to say.
But one thing that will never change, the moment Biggie lost his life, almost how the world of hip hop stood still once his death was confirmed. The sadness never changed, the memory never changed and the tears never changed. Great docu, the same story but a different take. Make sure you catch it Netflix.
