At some point this week Gov. Pritzker is expected to reveal a new phased COVID-19 reopening plan. The state of Illinois is currently in Phase 4, and Phase 5 would mean a full reopening, but with the vaccine being widely available or a highly effective treatment for coronavirus.
Come on Chicago, if we all continue to practice safety measures like social distancing, wearing a mask and frequently washing our hands maybe we can slowly get back to some of those things we used to do before COVID-19 impacted the world.
I miss concerts and events, going out of town and a bunch of other things, and I'm hoping this year will be the year that we get the virus under control.
