Patti LaBelle's 1974 Classic Inducted Into The National Recording Registry

Patti LaBelle is a legend no doubt, and her 1974 R&B classic "Lady Marmalade" has been inducted into the National Recording Registry, which preserves music and voices that shape our culture.

For more than 140 years, the Registry has inducted songs from many pf the country's artists. Rapper Nas, Janet Jackson and Kook & The Gang also had songs recently inducted into the Registry.
