Remembering Doug Banks

It's been five years since the passing of our friend and brother, Doug Banks. The V103 family is celebrating his life and legacy.

Doug Banks was born in Philadelphia and raised in the midwest. He began his career in radio at his high school radio station, where Banks became a popular radio jock on the Southfield High School campus at only fifteen years old. Quickly, his career took off with him landing on-air spots in LA, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Chicago.

Ultimately, Banks would become a staple at both WGCI-FM and V103 Chicago. The city of Chicago fell in love with the highly rated and extremely popular Doug Banks Show. Banks hosted the syndicated afternoon show until he passed away, April 11th, 2016 at the age of 57.

Take a look down memory lane at some of Doug's best moments!
