This past weekend I noticed that the city of Chicago and surrounding suburbs looked like they did before the pandemic. There were people everywhere, hanging out, eating at restaurants, taking in a movies at the theater, bowling, shopping and just about everything else. I even heard a couple of commercials on the radio announcing a concert.
It's a beautiful sight to see, however I just want people to realize we are still in a pandemic and it is so important that we continue to practice safety guidelines of washing our hands frequently, wearing a mask and staying at least six feet apart.
Not everybody has received the vaccine yet, and we are all still susceptible to contracting coronavirus whether we're vaccinated or not. So please let's continue to do what we need to do so that we can get back to those pre-pandemic days confidently!
