Hip Hop has lost another great. Gregory Jacobs, better known as Shock G and Humpty Hump of Digital Underground has died. He was a musician, a rapper, producer and front man for the group.
Shock G helped take Hip Hop into mainstream pop with his dance party songs, electrifying energy and signature fake nose and wild outfits.
According to reports that were confirmed by his father, Shock G was found dead yesterday in a hotel room in Tampa. He was 57. Another Hip Hop son gone way too soon. DMX, Black Rob and now Shock G. Rest peacefully fellas.
