George Floyd died a year ago today. And since his death there have been numerous other police killings and senseless murders of innocent lives.
This past year we have really seen a lot of loss, we've been through an emotional cycle of uncertainty, fear, anger, anxiety and more. And although some progress has been made, it's really up to us to continue to roll up our sleeves and do what we can to make our communities stronger and better.
Whether it be volunteering, mentoring, teaching, informing, encouraging voting or whatever you choose to do, we ALL have to do something in order to be the change that we want to see.
It's that simple.
