R. Kelly has been moved from a Chicago detention center to a jail in Brooklyn, New York just weeks before his federal trial on racketeering charges. The trial is scheduled to start in August. He was being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
The R&B singer has also reportedly hired a new attorney to his legal team. There are contradictory stories that two of his lead attorneys requested to withdraw from the team, however there are reports that R. Kelly actually fired them. This case is going to be very interesting.
