Instagram has come up with some new features that will protect teenagers. The social media platform will have a new default private setting for those under 16, 18 years old in other countries that will automatically set the profile to private, making sure nobody can follow them without their consent.
Also advertising will be limited as well. Advertisers will not be able to target users under 18 (or older in certain countries) based on their app activity, interests and websites.
