An indoor mask mandate for the city of Chicago will begin on Friday, Aug. 20th following an uptick in coronavirus cases. As of Wednesday, there were more than 3,500 new coronavirus cases with more than 40 deaths in the state of Illinois.
The indoor mask mandate will be required of everybody, regardless of vaccination status.
