Kanye West is back home and having a listening party for his latest album 'Donda' tonight at Soldier Field in Chicago. The album is named after his late mother who died in 2007 at the age of 58.
Already the rapper has made millions of dollars from the album in an indirect kind of way. He's already had two listening party's in Atlanta, then there's the in-person merch sales, he's got a deal with Apple Music (which he has broken records with by the way) and much more.
Looks like 'Ye may have started a new trend with promoting an album for months before it's officially released. It's working. And shout out to the homie for hooking up Chicago State University students with tickets to tonight's show. His mother was a longtime faculty member at the school.
