T.I. is no stranger to the film industry, but this time around he's taking his talents behind the camera. On Thursday, the self-proclaimed King Of The South shared a photo with his 13.7 million followers of himself casually kicking back in the directors chair for an upcoming television series entitled "Da Partments".

Tip, real name Clifford Harris, isn't the only member of the family participating the exclusive project — the rapper's 17-year old son King is set to star in the series. A clip of the young star playing the role of a hustling water boy made its rounds on social media, leaving fans thirsting for more info about the upcoming series.

T.I. and crew haven't disclosed many details regarding the show, however the Atlanta legend did reveal that they're in the early stages of filming. In an Instagram photo honoring some of the cast members, Tip wrote

Day3 on da funniest set in da world‼️ @navvgreene @cheatingassmyron @comediankdubb1 keep us cryin. Can't wait til y'all see this. Da'Partments

After fans in the comments accused Tip of biting his idea for Da'Partments from social media stars Desi Banks and Parlae, the rapper took to Instagram to make it clear that this idea has been in the works for over a decade, writing

FYI I've had this show concept in development since I wrote this song in '09-'10... ain't never no biting off another person's ideas... & ain't neva no hatin when someone adds to ideas of mine....I'm too fye for that... however I'd love to work with boffum on whatever they got goin on & they always welcome to work wit me on my project. It's the Atlanta Way.

No word on when the series is set to air.
