The statue of George Floyd was vandalized by a skateboarder in Manhattan, who was filmed hurling silver paint on it in second attack on the bust since it was unveiled on Juneteenth. On Sunday around 10am, the police obtained a video depicting the male assailant defacing the statue, which remains in Union Square.
The police are not releasing the video of the vandal taking off on his skateboard while throwing silver paint on Floyd's bust, leaving no other choice but to move to Manhattan park.
