Now that children between the ages of 5 and 11 are able to get a COVID-19 vaccination, officials at Chicago Public Schools are taking advantage of teaching parents about the vaccination.
On Friday, Nov. 12 CPS will cancel classes to inform parents about the vaccine on what is being called "Vaccination Awareness Day." Beginning this weekend children can get vaccinated at Walgreens and CVS pharmacies. In addition of course vaccinations will be available at pediatric offices too.
