YouTube wants to protect those who upload content to the platform. The video-sharing site is launching a new feature that will hide dislike counts on videos.
I never knew why that was a feature in the first place. If you don't like something, you just don't like it. I would never give the thumbs down to anything because my opinion is my opinion and it shouldn't have influence on others just because they see a dislike.
The dislike button isn't going away though, the new feature will just allow content creators to keep the dislike counts private.
