I've been watching American Idol for many years now, and I have to admit I "fell off" from watching during a couple of dull seasons, but I've been trying to keep up this season. There are some really good singers this year. The talent is very polished and not like in years past where I was looking at the producers side-eyed because some of the talent was really average.
This contestant Christian Guardino is one of the standouts in my opinion. He has a very strong presence and his voice is amazing. His runs are ridiculous and his tone is just really good. There are other contestants that are good as well, and I really like the encouragement and positive vibe judge Lionel Richie offers to the singers.
Thanks American Idol for bringing back a quality show with great talent this season.
