Keke Palmer has revealed that one of her Scream Queens co-stars made a racist remark toward her on set.

In her upcoming memoir, “Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative,” Palmer said one of her castmates, who she referred to as "Brenda" for anonymity, hurled the racist remark after getting upset over "a clash with a colleague."

Palmer said she attempted to diffuse the clash by telling "Brenda" they should just “have fun and respect each other." "Brenda" allegedly responded: “Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin F–king Luther King?”

In an interview with the LA Times, Palmer declined to identify which co-star made the remark to “take the power out of [their] words.”

“It was such a weighted thing that she said, but I didn’t allow that weight to be projected on me, because I know who I am,” Palmer said. “I’m not no victim. That’s not my storyline, sweetie. I don’t care what her ass said. If I allow what she said to cripple me, then she would.”

Palmer starred in Scream Queens with Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, and Billie Lourd. The show aired for two seasons from 2015 to 2016.

Rumors swirled on social media about which actress made the alleged remark. See social media reactions to Palmer's revelation below.
