More details have emerged in the fraud case against Real Housewives of Potomac star Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo.

According to The Baltimore Banner, prosecutors have requested additional financial records, alleging that the couple holds “approximately 40 credit and/or debit cards,” including some registered to company names and the aliases “Pam Oliver” and “Eddie Hennessy.” Prosecutors argued these were “a deliberate attempt to mask their identity.”

The Osefos were arrested in Maryland on October 9 and charged with 16 counts, seven of which are felonies, related to alleged “false/misleading info fraud” involving more than $300. Police say the couple reported designer bags and jewelry stolen during an April 2024 burglary while they were in Jamaica. Investigators allege that some items they reported as stolen had actually been purchased and later returned for refunds, and that Wendy was later seen wearing one of the supposedly stolen rings on social media.

The Osefos’ attorneys denied allegations of the couple having dozens of credit cards under aliases, calling the request a prosecutorial “fishing expedition.” Eddie’s attorney, Joseph Murtha, said investigators are “looking for something they haven’t figured out after 18 months of investigating.”

In a joint statement, attorneys also insisted that the Osefos “have never used an alias on any financial application." The couple's legal team said the accusations were "false and misleading," noting that any alternate names were used only for package deliveries “to safeguard the identity of very public figures." Attorneys also criticized authorities for publicly revealing the family’s financial information.

The Osefos is scheduled to appear in court on December 2.
