Recently in the news there has been a big debate on whether or not children should wear a mask in the classroom. Now comes word that pediatricians are saying kids should wear a mask if their not vaccinated and even if they are.
I have mixed feelings about this because it is a bit challenging to keep a mask on a kid all day while they are in a learning and social environment. But with the delta variant picking up speed with transmission and a low rate of people getting vaccinated, who knows? Maybe we won't have to worry about children in the classroom come fall anyway.
I'm really hoping this is not the case but unless more people get vaccinated we are constantly at risk of being quarantined again. Ugh.
