If you know me, then you already know how big a fan of Janet Jackson I am.
I'm not one to sit and watch TV with all of my attention, but this past weekend I intensely hung on to every scene in the 'Janet' documentary. It was so good from the moment it came on to the moment they rolled the credits. I learned a great deal about who Janet is when she's not on stage, when she's not under the spotlight. It was very refreshing to see that she is a person who has to deal with life's issues just like the rest of us.
I would have liked, however if there was an admission of what really happened with that infamous Super Bowl performance. I would have also liked to know something about her son's father -- that was one relationship she did not touch on for any number of reasons. But overall the documentary opened up the life of Janet albeit it in a very concise 4-hour documentary.
I'll always be a fan.
