The Film Academy has issued a statement following the now infamous slap Will Smith gave Chris Rock at Sunday's Academy Awards. The academy says it will explore further action and consequences in accordance with its Bylaws, Standards of Conduct and California Law.
Such a sad situation that really put a cloud over what is to be the highlight of one's career. I'm hearing reports that the two men are going to try to work it out but until I hear that from either Chris or Will, I'm going to just assume it is what it is. I hope they will get it together though like two grown men should.
