We all know there is nothing perfect in life, it just doesn't exist. But I will say out of all the entertainment shows I've watched over the years American Idol contestant Jay gave us a performance that was as close to perfect as it gets.
The Salisbury native performed Jeff Buckley's "Lilac Wine" and he had just a day or so to learn the song. Not only did he deliver it like a pro, he gave it his all, from inflection to body language to strong vocals and of course, the look. Jay made it through to the next round and I hope he takes it all the way to the top because this guy has talent.
