The celebration for rapper Notorious B.I.G. is going to be real big in Brooklyn this weekend. The rapper turns 50 on Saturday and his native New York is going to show him some love.
The Empire State Building's mast will display a crown in honor of the King of Hip Hop. In addition, the Barclays Center in Biggie's native borough of Brooklyn will play classic videos and songs of the late rapper on their display to the entrance of the venue.
Wow, he would have been 50 years old. And it's so hard to believe Biggie has been gone for 25 years. Rest in peace.
